On Thursday, less than 48 hours after Katie Price (aka Jordan) issued a statement announcing the end of her marriage to cagefighter Alex Reid, bookies slashed odds on the former glamour model remarrying the father of her two children Peter Andre.
The announcement that Peter is dating Frank Lampard’s ex Elen Rivas didn’t seem to sway the bookies, who were offering 5/1 odds.

Simon Cowell has fuelled speculation he is about to quit the UK version of his hit show The X-Factor.
In an interview with chat-show queen Oprah, he said, ‘I asked a successful guy, “What’s the best advice you can give me?” He said, “Simon, know when to leave the fair.”
‘I think that’s good advice – one year, I actually found myself thinking, “I’ve run out of insults, I don’t know how I’m going to tell people they suck.”
‘Something inside you says, “You know what, it’s time to go.”
Cowell signed a new £100m three-year deal with ITV in October last year to ensure Britain’s Got Talent and X-Factor remained on the channel until 2013 however there was no guarantee that the 51 year old would remain on them. He has already been replaced on the judging panel by comedian Michael McIntyre.
Simon’s new show X-Factor USA launches later this year for a reported £150m and will likely be viewed by 30m people a night, more than double X-Factor UK’s average 12m audience. If he decides he can’t do both then its likely he’ll end his role on X-Factor UK.

Reports today suggest Katie Price and Alex Reid are set to announce their split, less than a year after tying the knot in Las Vegas.
I don’t wish to sound cynical but there is always the possibility that the Reids’ could just be taking part in a publicity exercise to spark ratings on her Living TV show which filming has got under-way for.
Or the source everyone keeps quoting, is out to cash in on an explosive story… I mean Katie and Alex: Marriage Saved doesn’t bring in the same kind of revenue.

X-Factor winner Matt Cardle apologised to mentor Dannii Minogue yesterday after realising he’d accidently punched her in the face as she congratulated him on winning.
The singer tweeted, “Just watched the video, sorry for punching you in the face!”
Minogue will unlikely hold a grudge.
It was also confirmed yesterday that Matt, all bar the first week, got the highest percentage of public votes throughout the competition.
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have reportedly split up, it was revealed yesterday.
The Disney stars have been together for more than four years after falling in love on the set of High School Musical.
Friends rejected the idea that anyone else was involved in the split and insisted the relationship had “…just ran its course.”

ITV have announced that Kerry Katona will have her own new reality series called ‘Kerry Katona: The Next Chapter’ in addition to ‘Kerry Katona: Coming Clean’, a documentary about how it all went wrong for Ms. Katona – I think ‘Kerry Katona: Mark Croft Was A Mistake’ would have been more appropriate.
Firstly, I love how creative Can Associates are with the naming of the reality series. The Next Chapter, really? How many times are you going to churn that one out? Katie and Peter: The Next Chapter, Peter Andre: The Next Chapter…You need a new Creative Director.
Secondly, how many chances are the nation really going to give Kerry Katona? She does drugs, begs for the nations forgiveness and then the celebrity gets her and fucks her up again – there is only so many comebacks you can have, I hope for Kerry’s sake this time its all behind her!
